Broadcast services and engineering are inextricably linked, and that remains true whether watching or listening via broadcast, cable, satellite, or streaming. Join this All-Access super session to both honor our 2022 engineering award winners and to hear about the massive battle currently raging for streaming dominance.

NAB presents the Radio and Television Engineering Achievement Awards to individuals for their outstanding engineering accomplishments in the broadcast industry. We’ve been honoring such outstanding engineers annually since 1959, and this year NAB CEO, Curtis LeGeyt, and CTO, Sam Matheny, will present the awards and celebrate two incredibly deserving recipients, Ashruf El-Dinary (Radio) and Peter Sockett (Television).

And, veteran media reporters Dade Hayes (Deadline Hollywood) and Dawn Chmielewski (Reuters), authors of the book, Binge Times: Inside Hollywood’s Furious Billion-Dollar Battle to Take Down Netflix, scheduled for wide release on April 19, will share their amazing insights from the book in a timely and important moderated discussion. They’ll reveal how broadcast, media, and telecom companies are grappling with powerful new streaming entrants set against the pandemic-fueled backdrop of consumer binge-watching behavior over the past two years.
