Cinematography is comprised of three main disciplines. Lighting, composition & camera movement. For many people, lighting that's the most mysterious and the hardest to master.

Instructors will take attendees through how to light for documentary, in-house and corporate based projects. This one-day field workshop will take attendees through the process of planning & lighting using largely low-key, cinematic techniques. This class will feature lighting, lighting control, composition and camera set-ups to teach you how to light for a wide range of projects. It will also discuss and demonstrate certain "rules" that can be followed to help you consistently shoot great looking and natural one and two camera interviews.

Topics Covered:

  • Project Planning

  • Equipment (Lighting & Grip)

  • How to Effectively Bounce, Block, Cut & Diffuse Light Sources

  • Camera & Lens Choices

  • One and Two Camera Set-Ups

  • Working effectively as a small crew to obtain great results

Meet at Communa Coworking Space (6431 W Sahara Ave Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89146) at 10:00 am.
