The next generation of television has arrived. ATSC 3.0, also known as NextGen TV, is currently being deployed throughout the United States. With NextGen TV, low-power broadcasters have an opportunity to enhance their revenue through new datacasting services. Applications include remote learning, connected car and autonomous vehicles, cloud services and consumer edge datacentres, streaming OTT providers, ISPs, the gaming industry, and more. During this presentation, attendees will learn about the datacasting possibilities available in the ATSC 3.0 environment. The presenters will share real-world examples from ARK Multicasting, a leading-edge broadcaster that has successfully deployed a nationwide ATSC 3.0 distribution network for datacasting. The session will also examine strategies for optimising data delivery through hybrid broadcast and broadband delivery systems. Attendees will gain insights into how to deliver advanced, revenue-enhancing datacasting services with efficiency and scalability.
