For over 25 years Melvin has been combining marketing and technology within the communications, finance, and technology industries.
As a consultant, advisor, and investor, he continues to do so. Mr. Wilson has held top positions in
financial, media, and strategy leadership roles.
Prior to this Melvin founded Solve Innovation Group ran strategy and research for Interpublic Group’s media innovation think tank, IPG Media Lab proving consumer behavior, location, and value are just as important as algorithms and data to the development of media and technology
He has also worked on various efforts on multiscreen behavior, analytics/data, messaging apps, CTV, and native content with HSBC, US Army, Google, Unilever, and Ford Motor Company.
Melvin also has spoken and conducted sessions at at: ComicCon, Google, Columbia Business School, Advertising Week, and CES among others.
He also is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Perspective Equity Capital – a minority-owned lower middle market private equity firm that invests in tech-enabled services and branded consumer products. Melvin serves as an AdTech Partner and member of Perspective’s Advisory Board.
