Chris Dee is the Senior Vice President of Production and Show Technology for MSG Sphere Studios where he utilizes decades of expertise in technology engineering, operations, and production to help bring creative visions to life. For MSG Sphere Studios he is responsible for end-to-end production, while also overseeing building the venue's core content production pipeline and the development and implementation of many of the core technologies that will make MSG Sphere a first-of-its-kind multi-sensory entertainment destination, including custom visual tools that enable artists and engineers to create immersive content specific to MSG Sphere's highest resolution LED display ever.
Prior to joining MSG Sphere Studios, Chris was the VP of Entertainment Technology for MSG Productions, where he combined complex technologies with artistic and brand demands to produce acclaimed Rockettes shows at Radio City Music Hall. Chris introducedd breakthrough concepts that made technology an integral and sought-after componentof performance success, including introducing 14K x 14K projection mapping across the coves of the entertainment venue's iconic ceiling for the 2016 production. He has also held senior positions at industry titans, including: HBO, PBS, Discovery, Disney and NBC,
Chris is a long-time member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA).
